Name: | Goro Akechi (Shadow Weapon AU) |
---|---|
Birthdate: | Jun 2 |
Location: | (states/regions/territories) |
An Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon built by Yumemi Akechi, named Goro Akechi.
For the first half year of his life, he spent his time fighting his sisters in the research institute for creating Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapons, though when he was nearly destroyed in a battle test, Yumemi acted quickly, and under the cover of night, the two escaped. After that, he received his one and only order from her; never kill any human beings. With his fledgling personality developing, the following 14 years were spent in what he now considers bliss, discovering the world around him. There was the anomaly (Dark Hour) during the fall of night for most of it, but he developed his two Personas, Robin Hood and Loki, through it. From the moment he was saved by her, he swore to protect his mother with all his power.
That swiftly came to an end around 4 years ago.
His mother killed, and himself stolen and reprogrammed by the conspiracy, he is now the perfectly loyal pawn to Masayoshi Shido. He is, quite literally, incapable of refusing his commands, regardless of his own personal feelings on the matter. He is incapable of reaching out to anyone for help, but, after the assassination of one Wakaba Isshiki (making him disobey the only order his mother ever gave him), he is determined to one day kill Shido, and break away from his programming... when he figures out how to do so.
Even if it costs him his life.
In general, he is currently playing the act of the Detective Prince, presenting a lovable, perfectly polite and intelligent front to the public, as well as anyone he interacts with. Internally, he resents the idiotic masses for falling for it so easily... though he has been instructed to "take care" of anyone who comes too close to figuring out the truth, anyway. So maybe it's a good thing they're so gullible, after all.
Having access to the Metaverse with an app programmed into him, he uses his Persona, Loki, to create incidents in the real world, which he then "solves" himself. Under Shido's orders, he assassinates whoever he's told to.
Currently, he's investigating the Phantom Thieves, and has started infiltrating the leader's personal circle. It's a little risky, but his orders for this particular mission were vague enough that he can... dance around the technicalities. Ren Amamiya seems like the first person in forever who is determined to treat him as a person, rather than a weapon or a celebrity, and Goro can't deny that it feels good. He doesn't need to hang out as much with him as he does, for his mission, but...
