Crow has surprisingly little sense of how to pick his battles. He should have let you leave and resumed the discussion another time.

Like any other real person, you're having a hard time looking past your own biases and trauma to see the objective facts.

And without a doubt. It's one of the things I loathe about him. He's involved in literally every little thing in this place. You just can't avoid the guy, and everyone loves him for it.

As one of the more mentally together people (particularly of the Goros) here, he feels like he has to be. If you think he's bad now, it was worse before his boyfriend got here. He spreads himself too thin out of self-imposed obligation.

You don't have to like him, and while he really does mean that well, his intent doesn't change the fact that he hurt you.

God, he used to be worse? I can hardly even imagine. He's bad enough as is. Everyone keeps telling me he does really mean well, but it still feels incredibly fake. Maybe he does. I don't know.

Feels like not liking him is some kind of cardinal sin, though, with the way people act.

Of course it feels fake. Most people see no need to approach you with good intentions, because they don't see you as a person. You're not used to it to begin with, and there's the added layer of the deprogramming fiasco.

No one here, at least so far as I'm aware, is interested in using you or manipulating you. But I can say that all I like, and you're well within your rights to not believe it. As I said - like any real person, your biases and trauma are blocking your view of the objective facts.

It's no sin. All of us were never going to get along, especially when half the real population is the same distrustful person.

Sometimes I wonder how this place is still standing. I'm definitely wondering how there were no serious murder attempts before Sparrow's Ren arrived, but knowing nothing will stick has probably prevented a couple since then, with current tensions.

Exactly. Repeatedly destroying a building can be fun, but if a person doesn't stay dead there's not much point.

The 'went out' was in the other direction, as I understand it. Sparrow's Ren went looking for Sparrow's Shadow in Mementos, despite having been warned that was a terrible idea. Or quite possibly because he was told it was a terrible idea.
