Koromaru barks. He is really smart! He has a Persona and everything!

[gorobo]

"Oh?"

He didn't know dogs could have Personas- but then, he's a machine, and he has a Persona, so who is he to question that?

"Well, I suppose the cat has a Persona, why not a dog?"

[fruitknife]

Cat? Koromaru hasn't met a cat with a Persona before.

[gorobo]

"Oh? You haven't met Morgana? Although, I do suppose he keeps insisting he is not a cat..."

[fruitknife]

Nope! He hasn't even smelled a cat around here so far.

[gorobo]

"Huh," Falcon puts his hand up to his chin with a frown, "I met him in this place's Tokyo a little while ago..."

He pauses, then shrugs.

"He may have left, then. Seems he's free to come and go as he pleases," there's something bitter on his face as he continues, "unlike me, of course."

[fruitknife]

Well, Koromaru hasn't really been to Tokyo much, so if the cat stays there maybe they just haven't met.

But he gets it. Nobody liked being stuck in Liminal Space, either.

[gorobo]

"That seems likely, then." He pauses, then tilts his head in question. "Liminal Space? I haven't heard of it... or not in relation to-" he gestures to the world around them, "-any of this, at least."

[fruitknife]

It's a different in-between place! Arcana people were playing a game and needed other people to help. And weren't very good at asking first. Shinji was stuck there for a while.

[gorobo]

Falcon frowns at Koromaru's explanation- for as much of one as it is. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but then, he is a dog. Perhaps he's asking too much.

"Stuck there? That sounds unpleasant."

Not to mention the implications. Falcon doesn't like it one bit.

Regardless, his internal clock tells him it is nearing midnight. The school will transform soon, according to the information available.

"Ah- let's stand back, Koromaru," he says, getting up, eyeing the school.

The Arcana people had a lot to learn about regular people. Shinji could probably explain it better.

(Shinji's explanation will be very similar, and involve a lot more cursing.)

Koromaru whines, even as he also stands back. He's heard about the time the others went into the school before it turned into Tartarus, and that was Bad, and he's in no hurry to try it himself. He also really did not miss the Dark Hour.

[gorobo]

"I'll have to ask him later, then."

Falcon notices Koromaru's distaste for the Dark Hour and Tartarus, petting the dog as the world gains a green hue, and the school turns into-

Well. Well. He doesn't know what he expected, but it certainly looks bizarre.

"It's been a long time since I've seen this time," he says, then his eyes narrow, "it still has the same dreadful feeling as always, even here, hm?"

[fruitknife]

It really does. Were you planning to go in? You shouldn't go in alone.

[gorobo]

"Just the bottom few floors. I've found myself curious," he tells the dog, eyeing the tower. "I am a weapon made to detsroy Shadows, and have obatined some Goho-M's, so I'd be fine, more than likely."

[fruitknife]

Koromaru barks. Not alone, you're not.

(Having a navigator would be best, but even he's picked up that there aren't many of those around right now. And even two people is better than one.)

[gorobo]

"No? Hm."

If it were anyone else, he'd probably go in alone just to spite them. Koromaru, however, is a dog, and dogs don't lie, or anything of the sort. A very smart dog he may be, but a dog he is still.

"I suppose I could use the company, if you're offering, though I understand if you'd rather not."

[fruitknife]

Of course he's offering!

[gorobo]

"Heh. Ready to lend a paw, aren't you? Good dog."

He gives Koromaru a grateful scritch, before turning his attention to Tartarus, readying his combat protocols.

"No time like the present, I suppose. Let's go in."

[fruitknife]

Koromaru barks. Those Shadows aren't going to know what hit them!

[gorobo]

With Koromaru at his side, Falcon walks inside the entrance to Tartarus, curiously looking around the giant entrance hallway. His scanners indicate so, so much Shadow activity just barely above them, but it seems that here, for now, there is nothing. The room is stange, though; it both seems to stretch on forever, yet ends where the floor does. The staircase leading up, presumably, goes into Tartarus proper.

"Come on," he says, and ascends the staircase.

Tartarus is just kind of like that. Shinji still wants to know how turning into a tower and back every night for years didn't make the school building less stable.

Koromaru hasn't been on the very bottom floors before, since the team was done with those when he joined. It's weird how much it still looks kind of like the school usually does.

[gorobo]

Falcon's sensors are on high alert, keeping track of the surrounding Shadow, though from what he can tell, they're just small fry. It'd be pertinent to avoid as many of them as possible, but...

The atmosphere in Tartarus is certainly... oppressive. It tugs at his consciousness, as if purposely trying to tire him out. Still, he can't say he's not intrigued by his surroundings.

"This building really does defy all logic, doesn't it?"

[fruitknife]

That's Tartarus for you. At least these are baby Shadows, at this level. Not going to pose a serious threat to either of them.

[gorobo]

"Hah, of course," he gives Koromaru a sideway smirk, "if any of these small fry were a threat, I think I'd have to revoke my status as an Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon."

[fruitknife]

That's probably not a thing that can be revoked.
