Hello there! It looks like I'm currently unavailable, so please call back later, or leave a voicemail after the tone. If it is truly urgent, please message me at (XXX) - XXX - XXXX. Thank you, and have a nice day!
You have this number, so feel free to leave a message.
(OOC: Inbox is open for messages, calls, and general interactions. Just specify which one it is!)
I wouldn't say you've made it a problem with me, at the very least. I won't ask you to delve into details, I'm certain you've had to deal with that... but would you like a distraction of sorts? We could discuss something else entirely.
No, I haven't yet. I approached Phoenix about it some time ago, and he gave me some advice for confronting Maruki. Awakening Amamiya-san, however, is an entirely different story.
I'm almost truly at a loss. I almost considered the idea of Amamiya-san having developed a Palace, but the codewords for such are a mystery, assuming he does in fact, have one.
He also has not encountered his world's Ren yet. Oh, the irony that they were at the party at the same time and yet missed each other...
I can confirm shaking him awake does absolutely nothing of note. He'll wake up for only a few seconds at the very most, before returning immediately to sleep.
Other than that, I didn't have much chance to attempt other methods. I arrived here before I was able to attempt to have others speak with him or try another route.
I did take his phone to gather information. It was strangely unchanged and retained all of its information from the prior reality, which is how I learned it was changed to begin with.
He didn't have the chance to see if Ren had reacted to his phone being gone or not, but he most likely didn't...
Before I arrived here, I had only been aware of his presence for a couple of days, most of which were spent investigating.
Taking him into the Metaverse... Now that's am interesting idea.
To take him into the Metaverse... I hadn't considered it, but it's entirely possible it could reveal something. It's simply a matter of making certain he doesn't get harmed while he's there.
As for confronting Maruki, well...
That is also true. I considered that a possibility, but it would require finding him first. Sumire-san could only give me so much information when she first regained her memory. I planned on speaking with her more the day after, but... well, I appeared here that evening.
It might, considering Maruki's powers are cognitive. By that logic, it stands to reason that the Metaverse would reveal something regarding the matter.
It would not surprise me either if Maruki were hiding out inside of the Metaverse himself, if he has such control over it. I imagine that will make it extra difficult, too.
Ah, and Igor strikes once again.
[Does he really believe none of them can help themselves without his intervention? Arrogant asshole. Look what happened instead of 'help'.]
So it's a matter of traversing the Metaverse for him, then. I see... It makes sense. Though I'm not certain of what exactly has become of the Metaverse in my own world. I spoke with Akira-- Spades, and it seems as though Mementos may have fused with my world. It's difficult to say exactly what effects this may have had on the Metaverse proper.
Surely it still exists, but it could have had unexpected side effects on the nature of the connection between both worlds.
That said, the Metaverse does still exist. The Meta-Nav exists, and Amamiya-san's history remains intact even through Mementos has fundamentally changed. I suppose I'll just have to be careful as I go along.
But he does note Falcon's disdain of Igor's interference, and... honestly? He's not sure what he feels about it.
It was certainly poor timing, but I'm certain he has his reasons... I don't know what they may be though. Perhaps it was to make bonds, as suggested. Or perhaps it was to give me a chance to train more. I certainly need it...
Yes, you're right. Overconfidence would only get the both of us killed...
Igor-san is quite... frustrating, I suppose the word is? You are right about that. If he were more transparent, then perhaps things would make more sense, but as they stand right now... well, we're all aimlessly wandering about, trying to get by.
Frankly, I'm amazed I'm not more irritated by it. Maybe I should be.
Then again, he's aware he's actualized and... well, it's hard for him to feel much frustration about anything half of the time. It's usually either pleasant feelings, depression, or sharpness rather than anger.
If it were possible, then perhaps I would take you up on the offer.
He's still a bit wary about being angry, but at the same time he gets it's important. He needs to be able to feel the full spectrum of emotion rather than the 'pleasant' numbness...
It's not to say I haven't ever felt it, of course, but it's so... rare, I almost forget I'm capable of it until it strikes again. It's quite infuriating, in a paradoxical sense.
He can't help but wonder...
I think I may envy others. That ability to feel it freely, without restraint. Without being held back by something you can't put into words. I wonder how it must feel.
He doesn't mean to ignore Falcon's own struggles with his anger, and what he's been dealing with, but... well, a moment of weakness is a moment of weakness.
[It's not Dove's fault, not really, but in his anger, he doesn't particularly care. He's done with this conversation now, muting his messages for the time being.]

Then, finally, in the middle of the night:]
Thanks.
It's just some shit that's been festering for a while. I didn't want to make it a problem.

Have you found anymore details about how to wake up your Amamiya?
I did say I would help you with that.
[He isn't aware about Dove's Ren showing up in the Velvet Room yet, after all.]

[Whenever that fucking happens, with Igor in charge.]
Regardless, assuming Amamiya does not have a Palace, you should have a backup strategy.
[But what?]
Let's go over the details. What have you already tried?

I wonder if taking his body into the Metaverse will reveal anything?
That, and confronting Maruki, considering he's the one who put Amamiya in such a state.

[As for Igor... god.]
His reason is "fuck you, I do what I want because it's entertaining". I don't trust that old fart for even one second.

You're right. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make little of your own experience.
Ouch, that was not what he meant, but... yeah, it still came out that way.
